Dr. Carlen works in collaboration with a variety of London and area agencies & professionals. These agencies offer services to a diverse range of clients and in turn, work with Dr. Carlen to offer these clients a full & holistic experience of service.

Dr. Carlen is a member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) and subscribes to the Journal of Sex & Sex Research.
The Love Shop
Dr. Carlen is the official Sexologist for The Love Shop, Canada. She works with The Love Shop in collaboration on media ventures, workshops, and sexual aid toy reviews. Dr. Carlen is able to connect with a wide variety of people out and on location to discuss how to expand and satisfy a person’s intimate relationships. Her series of innovative workshops, “The Sexy Living series” are set to launch March 2013. Check out their website for more information!
Regional HIV/AIDS Connection
Dr. Carlen works with Regional HIV/AIDS Connection in a variety of different ways. She has volunteered her time to work with the Open Closet Youth Group for LGBT identified youth, has worked in collaboration on her TLC Sex Show (Toys, Lube & Condoms), and through referrals of clients. Dr. Carlen believes that the stigma associated with HIV needs to be eradicated, which is why she works to support and aid this progressive agency in the anti-stigma movement.
OCSWSSW
The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) is a regulatory body whose primary duty is to serve and protect the public interest. The College’s mandate is to regulate the practice of social work and social service work and to govern its members. Dr. Carlen has been a member in good standing since 2012.
American College of Sexologists
Dr. Carlen is a member of the American College of Sexologists International, a professional association for the purpose of providing professional standards for the training and certification of Sexologists, and those institutions that offer training in Sexology, as well as providing recognition of the work of other professionals involved in the fields of Sexology and Erotology.
